The Founder

Prior to founding Daly & Company in 1972, Dan Daly graduated from Harvard College with a degree in economics and spent three years in the Navy, including a combat tour in Vietnam as commander of a Navy Swift boat. In addition to Daly & Company, he founded Daniel Roberts Inc., an administrative and financial placement and temporary help firm.

In the early 1990s, Dan served as Governor William Weld’s first Director of Economic Development. Currently, he is Chairman of the New England Center for Homeless Veterans and a founder of Board Leaders LLC, an educational organization for directors of public companies focusing on governance issues. In addition, he is the past Vice Chairman of Mt. Ida College and a founder of The Presidents’ Heritage Foundation, an organization which brings inner city school children to Massachusetts Presidential sites.
