Dan Daly, CEO and Founder

Dan Daly has over 40 years of retained executive search, placement, operating and board experience. As a co-founder of Board Leaders, LLC, Dan’s talents are evident in his passion, content expertise and ability to educate and to capture the interest of professional audiences. His content knowledge is matched by his experience as a director and business leader. He serves as Chairman of the New England Center for Homeless Veterans, is past Vice Chairman of Mt. Ida College,  past Director of Economic Development for the Commonwealth under Governor William Weld and a founder of The Presidents’ Heritage Foundation, an organization which brings inner city school children to Massachusetts Presidential sites.

Dan graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Economics.  He spent three years in the Navy, including a combat tour in Vietnam as commander of a Navy Swift boat.  He began his career in personnel placement of returning veterans.  He also founded Daniel Roberts, Inc., an administrative and financial placement and temporary help firm.

Dr. Lucinda Doran has over 25 years of helping boards and senior executives improve their governance, planning and decision making. She founded The Corporate Advisory Group, a “best of class” leader in assessing, evaluating and developing boards, executives and organizations. Later, as its President and CEO, she led the Center for Quality of Management, a multinational service and research provider for CEOs and their companies, through a financial crossroads. She has served as interim executive in 11 companies during complex, difficult and pivotal transitions.

Lucinda is an Independent Director who serves on the Executive Committee and Chairs the Search and Succession Committee at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and is a founding member of Board Leaders. She is a former director of The Boston Club, where she led its effort to place qualified women on corporate boards, AutoPart International, Stonebridge and several nonprofit organizations. She earned her Ph.D. in Strategy, Management and Organizational Behavior from NYU’s Stern School of Business and is a licensed organization psychologist.
