Dan Daly, CEO and Founder
Prior to founding Daly & Company in 1972, Dan Daly graduated from Harvard College with a degree in economics and spent three years in the Navy, including a combat tour in Vietnam as commander of a Navy Swift boat. In addition to Daly & Company, he founded Daniel Roberts Inc., an administrative and financial placement and temporary help firm.
In the early 1990s, Dan served as Governor William Weld’s first Director of Economic Development. Currently, he is Chairman of the New England Center for Homeless Veterans and a founder of Board Leaders LLC, an educational organization for directors of public companies focusing on governance issues. Dan is the past Vice Chairman of Mt. Ida College and a founder of The Presidents’ Heritage Foundation, an organization which brings inner city school children to Massachusetts Presidential sites.
Dr. Lucinda I. Doran, Senior Vice President, Board Services
Dr. Lucinda Doran brings to Daly & Company a 25+ year global track record of helping companies through complex, difficult and pivotal transitions. She founded and built The Corporate Advisory Group, a “best of class” leader in assessing, evaluating and developing executives and organizations. Later, she served as President and CEO of the Center for Quality of Management, a multinational service and research provider for CEOs, leading it through a financial crossroads which culminated in a sale to maximize value. Lucinda has served on both for profit and nonprofit boards, including Harvard Vanguard. She started her management career rising through the ranks in advertising, public relations and promotion at J.Walter Thompson and DMB&B on large scale consumer, retail and media/entertainment accounts. She earned her Ph.D. in Strategy, Management and Organizational Behavior from NYU’s Stern School and is a licensed organization psychologist.
Prior to joining Daly & Company, Lucinda served as Chair of the Corporate Board Committee of The Boston Club and a Member of the Board of The Boston Club, the region’s largest association of senior executive and professional women.
